Two New Authors at Angry Robot

Exhibit A's Siobhan MacDonald

Twisted River is a gripping page-turner set in Manhattan and Limerick, as a dream holiday house swap goes horribly wrong. With a great premise, compelling relationships, and growing suspense, Twisted River is a terrifying tale of an ordinary domestic situation taking a very dark turn.
Siobhan MacDonald was born in Cork in the Republic of Ireland. She studied electronic engineering in Galway, and worked as a technical writer in Scotland for ten years with a year in France, before returning to Ireland. She now lives in Limerick with her husband and two sons.

Angry Robot's Rod Duncan

The Bullet Catcher's Daughter is a dazzling, alternate history fantasy. Elizabeth Barnabus lives a double life – as herself and as her brother, the private detective. She is trying to solve the mystery of a disappearing aristocrat and a hoard of arcane machines. In her way stand the rogues, freaks and self-proclaimed alchemists of a travelling circus.
But when she comes up against an agent of the all-powerful Patent Office, her life and the course of history will begin to change. And not necessarily for the better…
Rod Duncan is the author of three previous novels, the Riot Trilogy, comprising Backlash (which earned him a nomination for the John Creasey Dagger Award), Breakbeat and Burnout.
